Oyaide In-Wall Power cable(Triplex) EE/F-S 2.6 V2, 1m

The power supply could be described as the backbone of audio equipment. We at Oyaide Electric have released many items related to power distribution. Recently, we achieved to produce cables with PCOCC-A conductors by contribution of FURUKAWA Electric. This made us possible to make presentations of items which have enhanced qualities.

Now, responding many customers' requests, we finally succeeded to release special indoor cable for audio application. The strict quality control is maintained by FURUKAWA Electric in the production of EE/F-S 2.6.

EE/F-S 2.6 is consist of 2.6mm PCOCC-A conductors which have a 600V30A capacity, halogen-free sheathing developed specifically for audio applications, copper foil shielding and the drain wire for easy wire connection. It has demonstrated 30dB superiority in noise protection over standard indoor cable.

The development of EE/F-S series is not just a modification of indoor cable but an invention of "in-wall audio cable". It satisfies the requirements of high performance and safety by adequately integrating multiple elements. Its unlimited potential and excellent performance represent a genuine Oyaide product.

PCOCC copper is a material that includes very few impurities and insures very low levels of signal disturbance. Because of its low incidence of grain boundaries, the signal passes without impediment or distortion. Heating and cooling the PCOCC wire under controlled circumstances yields a densely re-crystallized, highly pure structure called a μ conductor. The resulting product with a mirror finish applied is called PCOCC-A copper. This highly advanced product is made possible by the combined application of high technology and traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

In addition to PCOCC-A conductor, the halogen-free sheath developed specifically for audio applications is applied for EE/F-S 2.6 with assistance of Furukawa Electric. This RoHS compliant halogen-free sheath has excellent vibration damping property and high transmitting capability by ideal compounding ratio of materials.

The development of PCOCC-A copper paved the way for our EE/F-S series solid core, in wall cable to emerge. EE/F-S 2.6 consists of 2.6mm PCOCC-A conductors which have a 600V30A capacity. For the quick response of power supply, it realizes very low conductor resistance, 3.42(Ω/km), that verifies the superiority of EE/F-S 2.6.
The EE/F-S 2.6 is manufactured in domestic factory of FURUKAWA Electric under the strict quality control.

EE/F-S 2.6 was designed on the assumption that it could be used under several circumstances such as in a home, a broadcast station, or a professional studio. Because of its copper foil shielding, it provides clean power without being affected by noise. The copper foil shielding has demonstrated 30dB superiority in noise protection over standard in wall wiring. Moreover, in order to connect easily to a terminal, 0.75sq drain wire is built into EE/F-S 2.6.
